🚔 If You Are Arrested by ICE

What to do if ICE arrests you:

  • DO NOT answer questions - Say: "I want to remain silent"
  • DO NOT sign anything - Not documents, not forms, nothing
  • Ask for a lawyer immediately - Say: "I want to speak to my lawyer"
  • DO NOT lie - Silence is better than lying
  • DO NOT say where you were born - You don't have to answer
  • Memorize emergency contact numbers - Or keep a card in your wallet
  • Ask to make a phone call - Call family or a lawyer

Remember: Anything you say CAN and WILL be used against you in immigration court.
